Joining with Ron Nathan in managing The Nathan Agencies are three highly experienced insurance specialists:

• Glenn S. Allan, Ed.D, ChFC, Vice President of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc.

Glenn Allan has been with The Nathan Agencies since 1991. He is Vice President and part owner of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc. He is licensed to sell property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance, mutual funds and variable annuities as well as banking and mortgage services. He specializes in providing insurance and financial planning for home-based licensed family childcare and daycare centers. While Glenn devotes much of his time to the childcare market, he also works with individual clients and businesses. He has received the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College. Glenn is a member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Glenn received a BA from the University of Connecticut and an M Ed and EdD from the University of Massachusetts.

He has given to the community by delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly, and is on the Board of Directors of the UMass Basketball Court Club, a booster organization supporting UMass Basketball.

• Anna Holhut, CIC, Vice President of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc.

Anna Holhut joined The Nathan Agencies in 1987 and is the Vice President of Personal Lines and part owner of the agency. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Anna holds a brokers license in the areas of property, casualty, commercial, life and health insurance. With 20 years of experience in the insurance field, Anna is a member of the Pioneer Valley Insurance Group (MA). In 1993 and 1997 she was recognized by CNA Insurance Company for her outstanding customer service by being given the Customer Service Representative of the Year Award. Anna holds the CIC and CISR designations.

Active in the Amherst Rotary, Anna was a 2006 recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Awards, given by the Rotary Foundation and Amherst Rotary Club. She lives in Hatfield with her husband Bob and their son.

• Margaret (Peggy) Marshall, C.I.S.R., CPCU, Vice President of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc.

Peggy Marshall joined The Nathan Agencies in 1990 as a personal lines and commercial representative. She is now Vice President of Commercial Lines and part owner of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc. Peggy believes strongly in continuing insurance education and has spent many hours adding to her insurance knowledge with seminars and classes. In addition to being a Massachusetts licensed broker in Property, Casualty and Life and Health she is proud to have achieved the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation through the Insurance Institute of America and is obtaining her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Peggy is a member of the Greater Amherst BNI and takes an active part in the Amherst Chamber of Commerce.

Her volunteer activities include working the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society and the Bradford M. Field Memorial Library. She is a resident of Leverett.
