Welcome to Amherst Insurance
Amherst Insurance Agency Inc. began as The Nathan Agencies in 1969 when Ron Nathan founded the company. Ron moved The Nathan Agencies to its current location in 1978 and the following year purchased Amherst Insurance, expanding the types of insurance we carry. In December 2012, current owners Anna Holhut and Glenn Allan purchased Amherst Insurance Agency from Ron. Since then, Amherst Insurance has steadily grown into one of the leading full-service insurance agencies in Western Massachusetts.
Amherst Insurance Agency is a female and veteran owned and operated agency that is determined to fulfill your insurance needs.
At Amherst Insurance, we pride ourselves on treating all of our clients with respect, competence and accountability.

Amherst Financial Services, now known as Livictus Financial Services, formally a part of The Nathan Agencies, is still housed with Amherst Insurance. For financial services information from Livictus, click here!
